β-funaltrexamine (β-FNA) is an irreversible μ opioid (MOP) receptor antagonist and a reversible agonist of κ opioid (KOP) receptor. β-FNA binds covalently to the MOP receptor at Lys233(5.39), which is conserved among opioid receptors.
