The Pichia guilliermondii GSH1 and GSH2 genes encoding Saccharomyces cerevisiae homologues of glutathione (GSH) biosynthesis enzymes, γ-glutamylcysteine synthetase and glutathione synthetase, respectively, were cloned and deleted.
