Cyclosporin synthetase was isolated from a cyclosporin non-producing mutant of Beauveria nivea, strain YP 582. The enzyme has a molecular mass in the range of active cyclosporin synthetase and also contains 4'-phosphopantetheine as a prosthetic group.
