Abstract excerpt
We investigated the roles of Salmonella pathogenicity island 2 (SPI-2) and two SPI-2 effectors in Salmonella colitis and diarrhea in genetically resistant BALB/c.D2(Slc11a1) congenic mice with the wild-type Nramp1 locus.
