BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Foetal and neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia (FNAIT) is studied mainly in Caucasian populations. Severe thrombocytopenia (<50×10(9)/L) gives risk of haemorrhage and the most feared complication is intracranial haemorrhage (ICH).
