The present study evaluated the effects of KCNQ1 rs2237892 and rs2237895 polymorphisms on repaglinide efficacy in Chinese patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM). In all, 367 T2DM patients and 214 controls were genotyped. Forty of the T2DM patients were randomly selected to undergo 8 weeks repaglinide treatment. The frequency of the rs2237892 allele was lower in the T2DM patients than in the control group...
