AIMS: MYC gene translocation entails a bad prognosis and a poor response to rituximab-cyclophosphamide, doxorubicin, vincristine and prednisone (R-CHOP) in diffuse large B cell lymphomas (DLBCL), and more intensive chemotherapy regimens could be more effective in those cases.
