The outer mitochondrial membrane protein Ugo1 forms a complex with the Fzo1p and Mgm1p GTPases that regulates mitochondrial fusion in yeast. Ugo1p contains two putative carrier domains (PCDs) found in mitochondrial carrier proteins (MCPs).
