Forestomach papillomas and skin papillomas were induced very efficiently by a single dose administration of the chemical carcinogen methylnitrosourea (MNU) in transgenic mice (rasH2 line) carrying human hybrid c-Ha-ras genes, which encode the prototype p21 gene product.
