BACKGROUND: Erlotinib, in combination with gemcitabine, has shown clinical benefits in pancreatic adenocarcinoma patients. The presence of EGFR mutations and increased EGFR copy numbers in pancreatic adenocarcinoma was explored. METHODS: Sixty-six pancreatic cancer patients were included in the analysis.
