One hundred and seventy-six Enterococcus faecium isolates from Slovak dairy product Bryndza were tested for the presence of plasmid DNA. Eighty-two isolates were positive and their plasmid DNA was isolated and digested by EcoRI and HindIII restriction endonucleases.
