Two monoclonal antibodies raised against human osteoclastoma were found to show antiosteoclastic activity on frozen sections of tumor. Immunoreactivity was localized on the membrane surface. These antibodies exhibited no activity against tissue macrophages and human visceral tissue except kidney, where they stained tubules but not glomeruli.
