Abstract excerpt
Proteinase 3 (PR3) is found in neutrophil and monocyte lysosomal granules. Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmatic antibodies (ANCA) with specificity for PR3 are characteristic for patients with Wegener's granulomatosis.
