OBJECTIVE: To identify microsatellite markers linked to progressive retinal atrophy (PRA) in American Eskimo Dogs. SAMPLE POPULATION: Blood samples or buccal epithelial cells from 66 American Eskimo Dogs, including 53 PRA-unaffected and 13 PRA-affected dogs.
