To induce broad T cell immunity to HIV-1, we evaluated the safety, immunogenicity and dose-response relationship of DNA and recombinant Fowlpoxvirus (rFPV) vaccines encoding five shared HIV subtype AE genes (Gag, Pol, Env, Tat, Rev) in pigtail macaques.
