OBJECTIVE: To obtain fibroblast-like synovial cells (FLS) from synovial fluid (SF). METHODS: SF aspirated from joints of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), other types of inflammatory arthritis, and osteoarthritis (OA) was centrifuged and the resulting cell pellet resuspended in growth medium.
