Phenylacetaldoxime dehydratase from Bacillus sp. strain OxB-1 (OxdB) catalyzes the dehydration of Z-phenylacetaldoxime (PAOx) to produce phenylacetonitrile. OxdB contains a protoheme that works as the active center of the dehydration reaction.
