Five strains of adult mice were immunosuppressed with the synthetic glucocorticosteroid dexamethasone (DEX), administered either orally or intraperitoneally. The strains of mice used were C57BL/6N, DBA/2N, CBA, C3H/HeN, and BALB/cAnN.
