Mu transposition complexes were used for transposon mutagenesis of Pseudomonas aeruginosa strain PA68. Mu DNA transposition complexes were assembled with MuA transposase and an artificial mini-Mu transposon in vitro, and introduced into Pseudomonas aeruginosa by electroporation.
