Aryl hydrocarbon receptor (AhR) is a transcription factor that is activated by the binding of xenobiotic and endogenous ligands. AhR interacts with heat shock protein (Hsp) 90 complexes and can be used as a functional substrate to detect chaperone-dependent processes.
