Phospholemman (PLM) is a 72-amino-acid phosphoprotein that is a major substrate for cAMP-dependent protein kinase, protein kinase C, and NIMA kinase. In lipid bilayers, PLM forms ion channels selective for Cl-, K+, and taurine.
