To date, nine polyglutamine disorders have been characterised, including Huntington's disease (HD), spinobulbar muscular atrophy (SBMA), dentatorubral-pallidoluysian atrophy (DRPLA), and spinocerebellar ataxias 1, 2, 3, 6, 7 and 17 (SCAs).
