The interactions of PI-PLC with nonsubstrate zwitterionic [phosphatidylcholine (PC)] and anionic [phosphatidylmethanol (PMe), phosphatidylserine, phosphatidylglycerol, and phosphatidic acid] interfaces that affect the catalytic activity of PI-PLC have been examined.
