OBJECTIVE: Wegener's granulomatosis (WG) is an idiopathic inflammatory condition characterized by upper and lower airway involvement and often renal dysfunction. Sites of tissue injury include pleomorphic cell populations, and classically mononuclear cell infiltrates that may form granulomas.
