OBJECTIVE: Wegener's granulomatosis (WG) and Churg-Strauss syndrome (CSS) belong to the heterogeneous group of antineutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitides. Current understanding of their pathogenesis and genetic background is limited.
