CCAAT displacement protein (cux/CDP) is an atypical homeodomain protein that represses expression of several developmentally regulated lymphoid and myeloid genes in vitro, including gp91-phox, immunoglobulin heavy chain, the T-cell receptor beta and gamma chains, and CD8.
