Paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH) is a clonal hematopoietic stem cell disorder characterized by complement-mediated hemolysis due to deficiencies of glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored proteins (GPI-APs) in subpopulations of blood cells.
