We recently demonstrated in vitro that a mutant HSV-TK (mutant 75) expressed from an adenovirus (AdCMV-TK75) radiosensitized rat RT2 glioma cells significantly better than wild type HSV-TK (AdCMV-TK) in combination with acyclovir (ACV).
