We describe a Bayesian approach to analyzing multilocus genotype or haplotype data to assess departures from gametic (linkage) equilibrium. Our approach employs a Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) algorithm to approximate the posterior probability distributions of disequilibrium parameters.
