A monocyte-derived macrophage (MDM) culture assay was used to define the replication kinetics of HIV isolates. Ten-day-old MDMs were infected with HIV. Supernatants were collected and assayed for HIV p24 on days 3, 7, 10, and 14 post-infection (PI).
