We describe the case of a patient with Cushing's syndrome due to a functioning adrenal adenoma. There was a pronounced increase in serum and urinary cortisol after administration of human chorionic gonadotropin. Immunocytochemistry revealed positive immunostaining for LH/hCG receptors.
