Eleven monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) to SIV Nef were produced and characterized. Five antibody-binding sites on SIV Nef were identified on the basis of the reactivity of the antibodies with recombinant proteins. Two of the five epitopes were defined using overlapping peptides.
