<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> Cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) receptor protein (Crp) is an important transcriptional regulator of Yersinia pestis. Expression of crp increases during pneumonic plague as the pathogen depletes glucose and forms large biofilms within lungs.
