Backgroud Inducible Nitric Oxide Synthase (iNOS) acts on the contraction and expansion of blood vessels by mediating the synthesis of Nitric Oxide (NO), which is implicated in the pathophysiology of preeclampsia (PE) associated with systemic vasoconstriction.
