Ferroptosis, a form of regulated necrotic cell death, plays roles in diverse physiological processes and diseases. Women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) have hyperandrogenism and insulin resistance (HAIR) and an increased risk of miscarriage and placental dysfunction during pregnancy.
