Two structurally-unrelated small molecule chemotypes, represented by compounds PAV-617 and PAV-951 with antiviral activity in cell culture against monkeypox virus (MPXV) and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) respectively, were studied for anti-cancer efficacy.
