Almonertinib, a novel third-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor, was selected by the Chinese Society of Clinical Oncology as a first-line therapy for EGFR T790M mutated non-small cell lung cancer in 2021.
