<h4>ABSTRACT</h4> The opioid epidemic led to an increase in the number of Neonatal Opioid Withdrawal Syndrome ( NOWS ) cases in infants born to opioid-dependent mothers. Hallmark features of NOWS include weight loss, severe irritability, respiratory problems, and sleep fragmentation.
