<h4>Background: </h4> Genome stability is maintained by the DNA damage repair (DDR) system composed of multiple DNA repair pathways of hundreds of DDR genes. Germline pathogenic variation (PV) damages function of the affected DDR genes, leading to genome instability and high risk of cancer.
