The calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) receptor is an unusual G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) in that it comprises the calcitonin receptor-like receptor (CLR), receptor activity modifying protein 1 (RAMP1) and the receptor component protein (RCP).
