In the rabbit, expression of immunoglobulin Ckappa1 light chain genes is believed to be under allelic control. Conventionally, four nominal allotypic variants, b4, b5, b6 and b9 have been shown to be co-dominantly expressed at the Ckappa1 gene locus.
