Sialomucin complex (SMC) is a large, heterodimeric glycoprotein complex composed of mucin (ASGP-1) and transmembrane (ASGP-2) subunits and expressed abundantly on the cell surface of ascites 13762 rat mammary adenocarcinoma cells.
