After mutagenization and selection, mutant Aspergillus niger strains resistant to certain agents were obtained. Seven of the mutants showed increased extracellular glucose oxidase (GOD), the level for individual cases ranged widely from 8.8 to over 138.5% in comparison with the parental strain.
