Genetic alterations of several oncogenes and tumor suppressor genes are associated with human colorectal carcinogenesis. Especially in mutations, the K-ras, p53, APC and DCC gene frequently occurred, and these gene alterations seem to have important roles in colorectal carcinogenesis.
