<h3>To the Editor.</h3> —Recently, Dr Payami and colleagues proposed a difference in Alzheimer's disease (AD) risk between men and women who have one copy of the apolipoprotein E (apo E) E4 allele.<sup>1</sup>Specifically, they suggested that men with no or one copy of<i>E4</i>(the<i>E2/E2, E2/E3, E3/E3, E2/E4</i>, and<i>E3/E4</i>genotypes) have a decreased risk of AD compared with men with two copies...
