The cellular response, in terms of cell cycle arrest(s) and apoptosis, to radiation-induced DNA damage was studied. Experiments were performed on both mitogen-stimulated and resting peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBLs) from normal and cancer-prone (C-P) individuals.
