Voriconazole (VRCZ) is a triazole antifungal agent with a broad antifungal spectrum. It is metabolized by hepatic cytochrome P450 (CYP) isozyme CYP2C19, whose genetic polymorphism causes significant variability in drug efficacy and safety.
