BACKGROUND/AIM: Dynamic DNA sequences (i.e. sequences capable of forming hairpins, G-quadruplexes, i-motifs, and triple helices) can cause replication stress and associated mutations. One example of such a sequence occurs in the RACK7 gene in human DNA.
