FBXW7, belonging to the F-Box protein family, is considered a candidate cancer susceptibility gene. Our findings indicate that single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the FBXW7 gene are linked to cancer risk, strengthening FBXW7's role in the pathogenesis of colorectal cancer.
