Ferroptosis, an iron-dependent form of regulated cell death driven by excessive accumulation of lipid peroxides, has become a promising strategy in cancer treatment. Cancer cells exploit antioxidant proteins, including Ferroptosis Suppressor Protein 1 (FSP1), to prevent ferroptosis.
